HOUSE OF INDEPENDENT BISHOPS

Overview

The UNIVERSAL GNOSTIC FELLOWSHIP exercises no jurisdiction over the House of Independent Bishops. The House of Independent Bishops is an open membership organization open to all members of the Episcopate who subscribe to the following general rules and regulations:

  1. Acceptance of the Law of One is required

  2. No member has jurisdiction over any other member

  3. UGC has no jurisdiction over any members

  4. All members agree to cooperate with each other

  5. Cross-training and exchanging consecrations are permitted

  6. Members have no obligation to the House

  7. Sharing is encouraged

Titles, Ranks and Positions

The House of Independent Bishops does not limit the titles members may use to identify their holy office. The list which follows is neither definitive nor established; rather it is a list of the titles currently used by some of the members (other titles are, of course, acceptable):

  8. Presiding Archbishop
  9. High Priestess
  10. High Priest

Additional Suggestions

Bishops belonging to the UNIVERSAL GNOSTIC FELLOWSHIP are generally expected to abide by the following general principles (these are not mandatory, merely suggestions):

  1. Ordain only qualified persons to the deaconate and confer an appropriate title upon such persons.
  2. Advance only qualified persons to the rank of archdeacon using an appropriate title for the same
  3. Ordain only qualified persons to the priesthood according to the lines of succession and the appropriate title you desire to confer upon such persons.
  4. Elevate only qualified persons to the rank of archpriest using an appropriate title for the same.
  5. Consecrate only qualified persons to the episcopate after receiving consent from two other bishops and confer such title as the bishops and the bishop elect decide.

  2. Name of current church and/or denomination affiliation
  3. Date of consecration and name of your consecrator(s)

Lineages

The lineages of the Bishops within the UNIVERSAL GNOSTIC FELLOWSHIP are classified as being either Apostolic or Gnostic. Bishops, by whatever title they assume when consecrated, may elect to activate one or both lines of succession. The consecrating officers, by virtue of their own consecration, confer all of their lines of succession, the Essene Healing attunements and the Golden Temple empowerments. Recipients of these lines may activate either the attunements, empowerments or both.

Gnostic Lines of Succession - within the episcopate of the UGF

Modern Essenes - healing attunements may be activated by the new bishop by contacting this group directly

Golden Temple Empowerments - attunements may be activated by the new bishop by contacting the Presiding Archbishop.
