The Emerald Tablet translated by Rhodonn Starrus, D.D. and Betty Jean McCloud Reeves, D.D. with annotations by two of their students. This particular translation and annotation is considered to be one of the best available.
The Gnostic Gospels by Elaine Pagels is one of the better collections of these early Christian writings. Dr. Pagels is rigorous in her research and writes with authority.
