The Sanctified Life - Part Three

The Sanctified Life Chapter Three Discipline: the rule of intent is all about quieting our minds and leading a calmer and more peaceful life. Self discipline is the tool we use to accomplish this. Become a disciple of whatever spiritual path you choose to follow. A disciple is one who has the discipline to follow their own spiritual path. Discipline means we have the resolve, dedication, and desire to do something every day no matter what.

Disciples of prayer pray every day regardless of everything going on in both their inner and outer worlds. Disciples of meditation meditate every day regardless of everything going on in both their inner and outer worlds. Disciples of any spiritual path, or any other endeavor in life, have the self discipline to do something every day no matter what. In spite of everything they do it.

Self discipline is a decision. Self discipline is a habit. Self discipline is the difference between success and failure. Success follows those who decide to do something every day and then just do it every day. It's all about discipline and knowing we can do anything if we just do it. Please review Chapter Three and then read Chapter Four of The Sanctified Life to prepare yourself for the next lesson and assignment.
